Biz is a retired physician with 45 years of clinical experience in rural and remote family medicine in Northern British Columbia. Her work includes extensive experience in family health, with a particular focus on natural childbirth and home birthing in the early years of her practice.She later undertook additional training in GP Oncology and Palliative Care (BCCA) and was involved in a government-supported collaborative to develop community-based palliative care teams in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
Throughout her career, Biz maintained a strong interest in integrative health, qualifying as a Registered Classical Homeopath in the 1980s and later training in Eden Energy Medicine, craniosacral therapy, and experiential shamanic practices in Brazil.
Now retired from clinical medicine, she facilitates integrative health workshops and maintains a small energy healing practice. Living on a permaculture-based farmstead in Pemberton, BC, Biz brings a grounded, practical perspective to self-care, energy balance, and holistic well-being.
