Dr. Stephen Malthouse
Physician
Dr. Stephen Malthouse has been practicing medicine for 45 years in rural, urban, emergency room, palliative care, and family practice settings and has been involved in overseas homeopathic research into childhood disease. He has a special interest in complementary therapies, particularly homeopathy, which he has integrated with conventional medicine over the last 25 years.
In May 2023, Dr. Malthouse spoke in the European parliament and later, in Nov 2023, he was invited to present at the International Covid Summit in the Romanian parliament on the topic of the future of medicine. That encompassed a look at the history of medicine in North America, the current mainstream paradigm of treating symptoms alone, and the rise of artificial intelligence and its role in driving the future of healthcare, where family doctors risk becoming obsolete.
Dr. Malthouse proposes a different paradigm for the medicine of the future, where treatment is tailored to the person who has the disease, not the diagnostic label, and therapies are used, whenever possible, to stimulate the body/mind to heal itself. This is entirely possible with modalities such as homeopathy. To achieve this level of optimum health, people will have to take healthcare into their own hands and learn how to navigate the jungle of therapies available.
HOMEOPATHY WORKSHOP – Learn all the remedies in the Boiron home kit
Dr. Malthouse will describe the basic principles behind homeopathy and walk participants through Boiron Canada’s 16-remedy family homeopathy kit, explaining the use of each remedy while giving examples from his 25 years of homeopathic practice. Participants will learn how to treat minor illnesses without risk and hopefully keep themselves and their loved ones out of their doctor’s waiting room.
