Dr. Bill Code

Bill graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) medical school in 1978. After four years of family practice in rural Hudson Bay, Sask he specialised in Anaesthesiology at the University of Calgary.

Following this, he began a tenure track position at U of S. After becoming an Associate Professor and receiving tenure, he left academia for a clinical position on Vancouver Island in 1992. In 1996 at the age of 42, Dr. Bill Code was at the height of a successful and challenging career in anesthesiology when a neurologist diagnosed his symptoms as Multiple Sclerosis.

The diagnosis and progression of disease ultimately resulted in a loss of hospital privileges and his capacity to work in the field of anesthesiology . His journey toward wellness is a story of multiple solutions toward a goal of optimal well being  with minimal prescription drugs.

His health has continued to improve over the last 11 years by using initially HO (Hyperbaric Oxygenation) and later NBO (NormoBaric Oxygenation).

Today he is recognized as a leading educator and author, and also as an expert on oxygen. He is now retired from medicine and writing The God Molecule - Oxygen, in conjunction with Dr. Philip James of Dundee, Scotland.
