In addition to being an overnight field school and environmental studies facility, Cheakamus Centre hosts visitors from around the globe for special events, retreats, conferences, seminars, and workshops.

In 2012, the LEED® BlueShore Financial Environmental Learning Centre opened its doors in the heart of Cheakamus Centre as a symbol of campus renewal, allowing for expanded conference and event space surrounded by the natural environment.

Cheakamus Centre is pleased to provide the community with rental access to our unique venues and accommodations. Whether it's a milestone celebration event with exceptional catering, a corporate team-building activity led by our experienced staff, or a private retreat with self-guided programming, we continually strive to provide a memorable and seamless experience for all.

Proceeds from facility rentals will help support our environmental, leadership and indigenous programs for children and youth.

Cabins

Get back to nature in Cheakamus Centre's comfortable year round lodging. Our log style cabins are tucked away in the forest, which make for peaceful surroundings reflecting life of simpler, less hurried times. Next to a pond and surrounded by nature trails, towering cedars and grassy outdoor spaces, Cheakamus Centre cabins let you stay among nature in its truest form. Guests are provided bedding, pillow, and towels for their twin-sized bunk bed.

Off-Site Accommodations

For those who’d like more privacy and comfort while attending the SelfCare is Healthcare event, we have partnered with the Executive Suites Hotel & Resort in Squamish to offer a special discounted rate of $229 (Fri & Sat) & $209 (Sun) + tax per night (for 2 people).
